Ahhh...Spring....along with the great weather, seasonal allergies and pretty flowers, comes our ancestral need to fire up ye old grill, doesn't it? We've already fired up ours for Miss Grace's birthday party (she adores her some BBQ)!
So this book came in at a great time!

Review:
This new book from Parragon seeks to demystify the BBQ grill and give the reader great BBQ tips from literally start to finish, so that YOU can become King/Queen of the grill! The book covers starting topics like which grill should you choose, what type of heating method to use, and how to properly preheat your grill. then it gets into rubs and marinades to use BEFORE grilling, as well as glazes for during cooking. Recipes then include Beef, Pork & Lamb, Chicken & Turkey, Fish and Seafood, and Vegetables, all made on the grill itself. The recipes show how many servings, prep time and grill time, all at the top of the recipe (see below for example), so you know at a glance if it is a recipe you will have time to properly cook! Al the main recipes include a nice color picture of the finished item, that will have you drooling! Each recipe also includes a grilling tip on the picture, that pertains to the recipe or method used in it.
The book then includes 3 sections of items to serve WITH your BBQ meat/veggies-Sides & Sauces,Drinks (including a Sangria punch we've always made!) and Desserts (grilled apples anyone?). All in all the recipes are pretty wonderful and we've bookmarked about 10 to try on Dad's new mega-grill he got for his early birthday/Father's day present! This book would be a great housewarming, birthday or father's Day present as well! Any grill cook would love to have such great recipes in one place!We highly recommend it!

I had to include this great Cajun Rub recipe- it's uber simple, but super flavorable!
My husband loves to grill out. This looks like a great cookbook.
