April 26th is National Kids and Pets Day- did you know that?

I didn't either!

We recently got to treat our 4 legged muchkin, Marley,
to some new treats from New Health Pet Products:

new health pet products apple and chicken jerky treats

They look pretty tasty don't they?

Dad even opened the bag and started to eat one, as he thought it was some new 'health food' I'd gotten in to try! Luckily we stopped him- but only because the dog adores them- you COULD eat them, as they are full of healthy ingredients! Better than tasting dog biscuits, right? LOL

These all-natural treats are high in protein, grain free, and contain no added chemicals or additives. New Health Pet’s healthy and nutritious treats are not only made in the USA, but are made using locally grown ingredients to meet the highest standards of purity, taste and nutrition. The treats fit their motto perfectly, “New Health = New Life".

New Health Pet’s treats have been developed to be naturally low in fat and calories. The chicken in the Chicken Breast Cuts are hand-trimmed (removing fat and rib meat, so you get nothing but protein), sliced, dried and packaged, it’s that simple. And the Turkey & Sweet Potato Jerky, Chicken & Apple Jerky and the Chicken & Sweet Potato Jerky, all offer an interesting and flavorful treat for dogs, that are 100% natural and handmade with no by-products or artificial flavoring. And I have to tell you, the furball LOVES these treats! She would eat the whole bag at one time if I let her. She wasn't too sure the first time we gave her one. She figured out how to get the jerky off first, and then inhaled the apple. The second time, she just about took off the kid's hand trying to get the treat! So yes, your dog WILL eat dried apples! Who knew? And they help to promote healthy teeth and fresh breath with the pectin from the apples!. If you're looking for natural tarter control, be sure to check out the company's Sweet Potato Chews , which reduce tarter while cleaning your pet’s teeth and gums.

You can find a local retailer, using their store locator on the main website, or you can order online! They offer combined shipping for one price, for up to 4 bags! And be sure to check out their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/newhealthpetproducts) for special giveaways too!
