If you're like us, you're trying to eat more fish to get those valuable Omega 3s,
and your kids probably won't eat much more than cod or tuna, right?

So how about a tuna that is SAFE for everyone to eat?

Meet:
safe catch tuna

The foods we choose to feed our children are a major component of their growth and development. There is one food that is highly recommended for children and women pregnant or looking to become pregnant and it’s fish. Children and women who are pregnant are encouraged to eat 8-12 ounces of fish a week to help with infant and child growth. But high levels of mercury in the fish we eat can have damaging health defects on growth and brain development. Safe Catch, a new brand of tuna fish is setting new standards for the tuna industry.

Safe Catch only buys from fisherman that use catch methods that have less environmental impact, like being caught with a pole/line or caught with FAD-Free purse seines. Then Safe Catch tests every fish they buy, for mercury levels before it is purchased. Thus the fish they use has a mercury level 90% lower than the FDA’s standard, and there is 5 times the Omega 3s in Safe Catch compared to leading brands. But all that means nothing if it tastes bad. Safe Catch takes the whole albacore tuna steaks and packs them raw, to retain nutrients unlike brands that precook away nutrients. Finally, their cooking process (which was tested with 70 variations before they came up with a winner, in BPA free lined cans) yields an amazing taste- it is fresher and tastier, and one your family will BEG for!

Safe Catch has 3 types of tuna that you can purchase- Wild Albacore (Salted and Non Salt) and Elite. The Wild Albacore is worth the extra cost- it tastes like it JUST came off the line and onto your table! I compared a can of Wild Albacore and a traditional can of albacore tuna. Can you tell the difference above? Oh yeah, that is a LOT of water in that traditional can, isn't it? Makes you wonder how much WATER you are really paying for. Now look at the Safe Catch can, solidly packed and PURE tuna. You know which one you want to eat!

Yup- Safe catch still on the left, and STILL looking yummier and tastier! Even Miss Grace declared it MUCH better tasting (and "can we just buy this from now on?") and like a just caught fish!

You can only purchase Safe Catch online right now, and yes, they might be pricey, per 6 pack, but you do NOT have to worry about high Mercury levels or other lacking nutrients in the tuna you are feeding your family, and you are getting fish that is as fresh as it can be, and that is priceless indeed!

I'm thrilled to know this company started in my old stomping grounds of Marin County in California, and I can bring the goodness of the Pacific to my family! Just like you can for yours!

  1. I need to try this - I did try one brand that uses these methods and it tastes great but was very expensive.

  2. I saw this in the store the other day but I did not realize that it is free of Mercury. I will have to go back and buy some and try it.
