If you read my earlier review of Pinterest Perfect, you know I got my Mother's Day gift idea inspiration from the book. But I ALSO got my idea for a personalized card from it's cover photo:

While I had used watercolors to compete the present, I had also got in an amazing set of Arianna's 48 Colored Pencil Set and I wanted to use them instead to replicate the adorable bird onto a card!

The set includes 48 pencils, an eraser, and pencil sharpener in a lovely carry case, that has slot of each pencil, that keeps them IN lace, while you're going to and fro!  The case alone would usually cost as much as the pencils! The pencils are made of bassword, with soft cores, for great flexibility and blending use. Plus they have an unique triangle shape that is super easy and comfortable to hold! I immedialley claimed them as ALL mine, and let Miss Grace have my 36 piece set, which cost just as much as these, but were nowhere near the quality. So we were both happy!

So I opened up the case, got my card ready, had my inspiration to look at and got started:

Not too bad, the pencils worked really great for blending, and with 48 colors, including bright neons, I really got the look I was going for!

But it needed the 'extra' so Miss Grace suggested some extra yarn she had and a pretty blue bead that had no friends. And waa-la we had a pretty unique card! But I wasn't done!

With 48 colors, I had plenty to use to create a shaded greeting that showcased most of the colors!

I really LOVE these pencils- they are SO easy to work with! once you try them, you'll be convinced too! The set of Arianna's Colored Pencils is HALF off right now! And they have a lifetime replacement guarantee! You can't beat that! So if you are looking for quality pencils to unleash your creativity this Summer (r to pick up for birthday and Christmas presents- I know, but some of you DO start shopping by Summer), be sure to pick these pencils up RIGHT now, while they are still on sale!
