I have a FUN solution:

Secret Code 13 + 4 is a fun game for up to 4 players:

Tonight is the the night the secret mission "Amun Re" beings! The team, made up of four cunning secret agents, breaks into the museum and, thanks to their precise calculations, cracks the tricky codes of the security system. 

Be it through addition or subtraction, multiplication or division, the numbers on the dice have to be combined so that the results coincide with the code numbers, found on the coded tiles.

In the code above, I needed 8 to move and used the 9-1. Had I not had the 9, I could have used all my dice and advanced, but then lost my turn, when no code (dice) were left.

Who will be the first to overcome all the light barriers to get hold of the precious Amun Re mask? You may be surprised at how competitive your kids get with this game! 

This game is perfect for ages 8 and up, to really practice their math skills! Miss Grace beat me 4 games to zip, the first night we played it! We plyaed both 'easy' and by the rules. In easy play, we rolled the dice, tried to advance, using the dice in different combinatons to meet the code numbers. After each advancement we rolled the dice again, to get new numbers, and to try to break the next code step. In the harder version, you only got one role of the dice per turn, to try and advance as far as you could. As you can see by the pictures above, you really have to think and try out different combiantions when you only have 3 dice left to try to reach the required number. WHICH means your kids will be running math and logic skills together. SCORE! So not only is it a learning game, it is a fun and fast game too!

The game is made in Germany, from Haba and is a well constructed set- the board is very sturdy, as are all the game pieces. This is a game that will last and last, getting through your kids' childhood and still be around for their kids! It's perfect for playing at home and while traveling, making it one of your go-to Summer games! So be sure to check this new game out for some great Summer fun!
