In our continuing coverage about veterans and Military Awareness month,
I wanted to share this great video about our own Major William Saint of the 62nd Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team for the Louisiana National Guard. After serving as a platoon leader in Iraq, this father of four came home to keep the American public safe from hazardous materials and weapons of mass destruction.
We don't often think about the skills that our men and women learn on the battlefront being useful when they come home to peace time.
But this squadron has found a way to use thier unique set of skills to benefit their local communities, and to support their local law enforcement agencies!
