It's here...

And with it comes the annual beach /lake vacation.

And THAT means swimsuits... SIGH

Does last year's suit fit a bit too snug?

Don' t want to hassle trying on countless suits to find one you like, that covers what you want covered?

I have a natural solution than can help you not only detox your body, but help you feel more comfortable in that swimsuit!

FitTea is a natural tea, that can be used for either a 14 or 28 day detox. This detox will help you drop those last 5-10 pounds easily, and help your body get rid of toxin that could be causing you to keep the weight on.

Natural teas like FitTea have been used all over the world for thousands of years for weight loss. They help to detox your body and provide you with an increase in energy, which can then help you not only get started on, but maintain a healthy fitness program. FitTea not only gives you energy, it can rev up your metabolism, to help your body naturally burn more calories (always a good thing). And that extra metabolism burning can help suppress your appetite too! Plus tea in any form is a natural anti-oxidant, so it can help your body's immune system too!

I was offered the change to check out the #FitTea 14 day program and to provide a FitTea review,
to share with my wonderful readers!

fittea 14 day program bag and teabags

First the basics:

What do you get for the 14 day pack?
You get 14 tea bags in a resealable pouch (LOVE that).

What is in each tea bag?
FitTea is some pretty healthy looking tea, as you can see! It contains Organic Green Tea, Oolong Wu Yi, Organic Rooibos, Ginger, Pomegranate, Guarana, Birch, Stevia, Corn and Honey Powder. So if you DO have a corn allergy, then you would not be able to use this product. Also if you have any type of heart condition, you might want to check with your doctor, as sometimes Guarana can be problematic, especially if you are on any type of pressure regulating prescription.

How do you use the tea?
The tea can be made hot or cold. For hot tea, you need to pour boiling water over the tea bag in you mug, and let it steep for 3-5 minutes. For an easy cold tea version, just throw a tea bag in your water bottle, with about 10 oz of water. Let it sit in your fridge overnight, and you have instant cold tea in the morning. You can add honey or lemon to the tea, but as it has Stevia in it, you really don't need any sugar or sugar substitute.

When to drink your tea?
You can drink your tea right before a workout, right after getting up,or before a meal. Personally, I'm not a big fan of ginger tea (I drank too much ginger tea when regnant for all day morning sickness). So for me, it was easier to make it iced, and use it in place of water during the afternoon, dividing it into 3 swallows, so I wouldn't have to deal with the smell of the ginger. I know other people smelled it and thought it was heavenly.

My FitTea results
Over my review period I definitely had more energy and no longer snacked in the afternoon, and actually had a severe yearning for salads and seafood. I'm not sure if that was a weird effect, or just that my body had detoxed from the processed foods, and was craving more natural minerals and vitamins. After day 3, I seemed to have less stomach issues, which I attributed to the detox working as well. As far as weight loss, I noticed my pants were back to being loose and I had a few people ask if I had been dieting, as I looked like I had lost weight. While I know some of the weight loss was water, and some intestinal build up (why you detox), I know some of it was from my metabolism working harder than normal. When you're over 40, anything that can help in that area is very welcomed!

I would say if you are looking to drop 5-9 pounds in 2 weeks before vacation, this is a super easy way to do it, while running after the kids and keeping with your busy schedule. It's easy, good for you, and requires only a minimum of commitment! And who knows, once you try 14 days, you might just want to try their 28 day program!

  1. This tea looks terrific to try. I like that it already has the Stevia in it. I would love to have more energy also.
