As Lisa says, "More and more, especially in the summertime when I'm sitting on the beach, I'm learning not to sweat it. To go back to the child that I used to be. To see myself through the loving eyes of my parents. To eat on the beach. And not to worry about whether every little thing makes me look fat. In fact, not to worry at all."
So put aside your worries and join Lisa and Francesca as they navigate their way through the crazy world we live in, laughing along the way.

Review:

Need a book to read in short bursts this Summer?

This is your book- equally funny and touching. It is an interesting look into Lisa's personal life, having read many of her novels! Hearing from her daughter as well, adds an added bonus to the stories, making you feel like you are part of their family, All the stories touch on very human moments - an elderly mother watching church on tv, not wanting to tell family members you're single again, do you want a fitbit, how cute Bradley Cooper is (note: recurring theme, that I agree with LOL), how food=love in Italian families, etc. The chapters alternate and are short enough that you can read 4 easily while waiting for your doctor's appointment, or plane to arriive. The book is perfect for reading on a lazy day and sharing some great memories and laughs with the authors! This is one you'll be sharing with your girlfriends!
