This book came in after Father's Day, so we've been checking it out as a great Summer idea resource. many of the ideas in the book could be done by older kids, or teens helping younger siblings, making it great for Summer fun!

Made With Dad cover

Made With Dad features fifty unique, fabulous projects for fathers to make with their children. Projects include everything from samurai swords to pocket-size dolls, wizard wands to paper zoos.

ll projects can made from affordable, easy-to-find items—often regular household ones already owned. Full-color photographs, line drawings, and detailed instructions provide an easy, visually lush, and family—friendly manual.

This is a book for fun and bonding, one boys, girls, and adults will enjoy. It will allow families to create objects to play with everyday or display in their rooms, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Made With Dad sample project list
As you can see, there is a wide variety of projects in this book! Chapters include Easy Projects, Arts & Crafts, Waves and Wheels, Great Adventures, Final Frontiers, Happy Holidays and Advanced Models. The projects do start off very easy, using items you have at home, and then increase in difficulty and items needed. For instance, in the collage above you have a car and truck made from recycled cartons, and you have lamps made with USB electronics! If you have kids that are into recycling, they will be overly enthusiastic about how this book reuses items!

There is something for everyone in this book!

As you can see, each project shows you three things: what ages the project is for, how long the project takes and what you need before you start it.

This is really helpful, so that you can quickly peruse projects and see what fits into your schedule, or that you need to go buy parts before starting.

As you can see, there are plenty of diagrams to help you, along with simple explanations, so that anyone, with any crafting capability, can create the projects in this book!
