And now for a little book, with an important message....

Synopsis:

This bright, chunky book has all the important stories about Jesus for young children. Twelve fully illustrated stories, each with an introduction to link its meaning to the world of the child, and with a closing prayer to say and ponder. This little volume also has an introduction and glossary of special words.

Review:

As you can see, this book is good for beginning and early readers, the stories about 24 pages long, but on double page layouts, so there isn't a lot of reading. Stories focus on Jesus' birth, his growing up,his message, his special prayer, the miraculous picnic, and other tales, ending with his deal and rebirth. Each story ends with a Christian prayer.

If your child is not in a bible study program at church, this book would be a great way to introduce them to the bible stories in a way that is easy for them to understand and relate to. It is a great little handheld book, perfect for carrying on the go, adding to a stocking (Christmas, it's COMING), or to a gift basket. We highly recommend it!
