Inspired by the real life experiences of his co-writer, Christian Counsellor, Andrea M. Polnaszek, John K.D. Graham directs a powerful film about one family’s journey toward a true relationship with God and each other, despite the pressures of the community to keep on with the façade.

Synopsis:

John and Alexa Taylor appear to have the perfect life – they’re the envy of all the parents in town. Their son Beau is the high school football star and their daughter Ravyn is a straight-A student. But when Beau is caught drinking alcohol, his place on the team and his bright future are on the line. With the football season at stake and the judgmental community turning their backs on them, every member of the Taylor family is at a crossroads. Now, they must find the strength from one another, and the spiritual courage from within, to prove that faith and family is the only score that really matters.

Review:

If you have teens, you need to watch this DVD with them! Not only does it touch on teen drinking and seeking perfection, it teaches grace and forgiveness. Two very important concepts that teens tends to loose sight of. The third concept shown, is SO important, is consequences and integrity. I say them together as your integrity affects the consequences of your actions. This movie allows teens to see these 3 concepts in very real life situations, that they can, and do, relate to. The movie does a great job in showing how consequences of actions can cause us to loose hope (our theme for the day!), but God is always there to forgive us and offer us his grace, IF we believe and ask for it. It also does a great job in showing how a family can react to our actions, and how we can be an inspirations for those closest to us. It is a great movie to get kids talking and to show God's love in a new way! We highly recommend the DVD!

the DVD will be available next month on DVD!
