Do YOU Have Your Halloween Costumes for 2015 Yet?

Miss Grace has an Alice costume for Halloween this year, but lately she has been infatuated with the cartoon Book of Life, so when I saw the newest costumes at Wholesale Halloween Costumes, I knew she would love having their Girl's Teen Dia De Los Muertos Costume, for a second costume this year!

Dia De Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration that hails from Mexico. Its purpose is to remind people of their friends and family who have passed on, and to honor the deceased, sugar skulls are part of an offering. Wholesale Halloween Costumes celebrates that  tradition this year with a group of new costumes for girl, boys, men and women, and all at VERY reasonable prices!

The Girl's Teen Dia De Los Muertos Costume features a black dress with a printed decorative skeletal ribcage,with a bouquet of pastel flowers, on the bodice. The skirt is made of four layers of ruffly satin, and is short in the front but longer in the back, for plenty of swing! You also get a pair of ¾ leggings and sleevelets, both adorned with festive skeletal bones. For the final touch, the included rose-laden headband, matches the colors in the satin layers of the skirt. All you need is shoes and to paint your face with makeup!

We were thrilled with the great quality of this costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes! As a parent, I loved having all the pieces included, so that all we need to purchase is the makeup, as she has some boots that will look great with the outfit!  The only con was that the wristlets are NOT pointed with a finger holder, as shown in the picture on the website, and on the product package. I may end up adding one for Miss Grace, as her wrists aren't wide enough to keep them from slipping down. 

This outfit comes in JUNIOR sizes, 0-9. up to 95 pounds. As you can see, it fits Miss Grace, who is in a 10-12 for width, 12-14 for length, pretty well. Especially since she has 2 months before Halloween, being a little bigger, will allow for growing space AND to put long johns on underneath, if it ends up being cold, as the almanac is predicting for this year. 

You can see JUST how bright the colors are! It is a VERY striking costume. I'd love to have 

one in my size! LOL I definitely need to check out WHC and see if I can come up for a great costume for me this year too!

From the back is the only place where you can tell that the dress is a little long on Miss Grace. As it should be 2-3 inches ABOVE the knee, but hits at her knee. But she adores the longer length, and I prefer it for modesty means as well. She will have to wear a tank top underneath it as well, as the shoulders keep sliding, but again, with the predicted weather, we figured that into the equation already.
