We talked earlier about keeping your kids' identity safe, but what about the items they carry everyday?

With extracurricular activities, and after school/weekend jobs, getting ready to start, your kids will start to have to worry if their wallets, id, money, cell phone, cameras and MP3 players (do teens still have those?) are safe, while they are otherwise occupied and not keeping an eye on their stuff!

Since we were talking about keeping your child identity safe, it only makes safe to talk about a product that can keep your child's personal items safe from theft, during their after school activities!

The 5900D safe has a durable water-resistant construction, with shock absorbing foam lining, to keep your valuables safe, if it gets dropped, or accidentally hit with water! 

It comes with a pre-set combination, but it SUPER easy to change with just a screwdriver and 3 minutes of your time! It even has an ear bud/charging cable access port, on the side, so you can charge your cell or mp3 player while it is being stored, or listen to your tunes while keeping the player secure! Perfect for coeds at the library or coffee shop studying, or working on papers!

The safe measures 2-1/5in H x 9-2/5in W x 5-1/10in  D, and can easily fit larger cell phones, like the Samsung S5, keys and more, as you can see from above!  Which makes it perfect for teens and coeds to use while on the field practicing, or spending long hours in the gym! And for those jobs who say no cell phones, with the 5900D, you can resist temptation AND keep your cell phone SAFE!

You can do this with the provided strong steel cable that wraps securely around the safe, when not in use! All you have to do is to unlock the cable plate, remove cable from its slot (see above picture), and then wrap it around a fixed object, like a pole, and place the end back in its locked position, and close the cable plate, and roll the numbers to lock it again! You can also lock the cable in front of the safe, and use the cable as a carrying handle, sorta like tote handle, if you don't have a bag to put it in.  Then you can sling it over a should and be able to carry books or other items. Easy peasy! 

Like all Master Lock products, the 5900D comes from a name you can trust, and it is pretty heavy duty I can tell you. Mine has taken a couple of tumbles down our staircase, thanks to a rushing 8 yr old, but I no worries about everything being safe inside! If your child, or you, have to travel for games, competitions, or work, the 5900D can be a huge security blessing! Your hotel key, money, passport, etc, will all be safe, even if you aren't in your room! I know it will be going with us to every dance competition we have to travel to out of state- the peace of mind it gives you is beyond compare!
