And now for something great for Back to School creativity!
Synopsis:
Outside the Lines Too is a hip and imaginative coloring book featuring original line drawings from more than 100 creative masterminds, including animators, cartoonists, fine artists, graphic artists, illustrators, musicians, outsider artists, photographers, and street artists. With most pages commissioned especially for this book, this collection features the work of Dalek, Timothy Tompkins, Ryan Humphrey, Richard Colman, Maria E. PiƱeres, David Ellis, Jim Houser, Justina Blakeney, Kevin Lyons, Rainer Judd, Tim Biskup, and more.
Review:
This follow up to Outside the Lines, continues with more great art from some amazing artists!
As you can see, the collection ranges from graphics to modern art, to simple prints to accessorize like crazy, to more complex prints that bed for fine art materials and framing! Many of them would make lovely Christmas or birthday presents- they would be gifts that always remind the user of your talent and kindness!
Once again the prints are on sturdy, easy to teat out sheets with the artist and art info on the back, so you know where the original art came from.
Here is a sample that I made up for Miss Grace's room to surprise her!
As you can see, the paper takes marker ink very well, even for blending! And there was plenty of room to add the unicorn horn. The only thing that didn't show in the picture was the glitter on the unicorn's body!
This is such a fun book for both giving and keeping! Now that the kids are back in school, it will help you bring out your inner artist! Or you can include it with art supplies for a great Christmas gift for your little artist!
