Louisiana Governor Jindal proclaimed September 14, 2015 as
a Statewide Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement
and encouraged state leaders, local officials, and church organizations to honor all law enforcement on this date.
Governor Jindal said, "On Monday, September 14, we are welcoming Louisianians to unite in prayer for our law enforcement officers across the state. Too often, we forget the sacrifice and commitment these brave men and women make on a daily basis in order to protect our families and uphold the peace in our communities. Our officers understand the real risk and responsibility that comes with this career and we are extremely grateful for their dedicated service. We’re encouraging all Louisianians to take a few minutes out of their day to pray for and thank a local law enforcement officer for their unending commitment to our communities."

Wouldn't it be great if all 50 states concurred and did the same on the same day????

  1. I agree with you it would be wonderful. And I so glad that you had this post as I will make a special point to say a prayer for all law enforcement. Goodness knows they deserve all our prayers every single day!
