Synopsis:

Bedtime is a wonderful time of day to bond with your children. This adorable board book from bestselling author Amy Parker is a great way for your toddlers and preschoolers to tell Daddy “night night” as they settle in for bed.

Cuddle up for a calming bedtime story with these sweet board books that combine bedtime rhyme with adorable animal illustrations, to help your children get ready for a good night’s sleep. Night Night, Mommy and Night Night, Daddy feature an animal family settling down for bedtime, recalling shared moments between mother and child (or father and child) that occurred throughout the day. All of these special moments are relatable to you and your toddlers or preschoolers, and this bonding time is a wonderful way for your children to tell you “night night” as they drift off to sleep.

Review:

You may remember Amy from her excellent devotional, The Plans I Have For You Devotional (and journal). She has written another adorable set of books for younger kids, that follow up on her Thank You God for Mommy/Daddy books, and once again teach children to appreciate everything that their parents do for them and how sharing time and experiences with them is so valuable. Teaching gratitude is hard, it is best learned through modeling and experience. These adorable books, with their lovely illustrations, allow kids to understand things they should be grateful for, that their parents do for them during each and every day.

The books also both end similarly, showcasing how we need to thank God for all that he has given us, that allows us to have the experiences in the book, as well. The teaching is subtle, but young children WILL understand, and the books are sure to quickly become added to your child's favorite books list!

The set would make an adorable gift set for a baby shower present, or for gift giving for an older child's baptism present. We adore them and your family will too!
