This is a lovely kit, that is perfect for not only buying and making, but for gift giving too!
In the kit you get a pretty floral container box, that holds all the included supplies. You get the the Botanic Coloring Book with 32 pages, Paper Flower Instructions, tissue paper in 3 colors, template, green craft tape and green wires for your stems. Check out some of the coloring pages:
The Paper flower Instruction booklet gives you instructions to make Roses, Peonies, and Rose Buds.
We decided to combine one of the Botanic Coloring Book pages with a paper flower, as a present for my Mom, who is in the hospital.
The booklet is easy to follow along with, but some steps make be hard for younger kids to complete correctly, and may require some adult assistance, so I would say 9 and up can handle by themselves.
The instructions included cutting out tissue paper rounds, using the included template, then adding additional cuts, then separating and folding your wire, papers and then putting it all together, using the green craft tape.
As you can see our rose turned out fairly well! We did use all 3 colors, instead of only using 2. We liked how well it came out.
We decided to color in the wreath page, so then we cut a whole in the middle and slid the flower in, taping it on the back, so that it could be hung up on the wall, so she could see it form her bed.
This kits is a lovely way to make very unique gifts, cards ir just little pick me ups for those who need them.
We highly recommend it!
