Ever wonder how Taylor got her scar? Or how Taylor and Baldwin's epic romance began? The answers await you in the prequel to the Taylor Jackson and Samantha Owens series,

Synopsis:

All of Nashville is on edge with a serial killer on the loose. A madman is trying to create his own end-of-days apocalypse and the cops trying to catch him are almost as damaged as the killer. Field of Graves reveals the origins of some of J.T. Ellison's most famous creations: the haunted Lieutenant Taylor Jackson; her blunt, exceptional best friend, medical examiner Dr. Samantha Owens; and troubled FBI profiler Dr. John Baldwin. Together, they race the clock and their own demons to find the killer before he claims yet another victim.

Review:

I RACED through this book! Every time you thought there would be a breather, the pace would pick right back up and you were rapidly turning pages again! Which is exactly what I would expect from a book from T! I always love getting back stories on my favorite characters, and JT gives the reader such a great history of her characters in this story, that you know that the revised story line has been perculating in her brain's drawing board for awhile (the story had never been published, she pulled it back out and edited it with scenes from current books, and hints of story lines later seen). I think her editing job was perfect, and if you LOVE this series, you'll love this book, so be sure to add it to your summer reading list

About the Author

New York Times bestselling author J.T. Ellison writes dark psychological thrillers starring Nashville Homicide Lt. Taylor Jackson, like No One Knows,  and medical examiner Dr. Samantha Owens, and pens the Nicholas Drummond series with #1 New York Times bestselling author Catherine Coulter.

Ellison grew up in Colorado and Virginia. After graduating from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and receiving her master's degree from George Washington University, she was a presidential appointee and worked in The White House and the Department of Commerce before moving into the private sector to work as a financial analyst and marketing director for several defense and aerospace contractors. After moving to Nashville, Ellison began to research her hidden passions, forensics and crime, and was compelled to begin writing down her stories. To research her books, she has worked with the Metro Nashville Police Department and the FBI, as well as performing autopsies and studying survivalists.

J.T.'s interests go beyond writing books—she publishes them, too. In 2015, Ellison founded her own independent publishing house, Two Tales Press, which features spine-chilling short stories and novellas. An avid oenophile, Ellison teamed up with her right-hand, Amy Kerr, to launch The Wine Vixen, a wine review website focusing on all varietals and price ranges.Co-host of the premier literary television show A Word on Words, Ellison lives in Nashville with her husband.
