Miss Grace has been bugging me like CRAZY to watch this movie, so it was really funny to watch her face when she opened the mailer with the preview dvd inside! I instantly became 'best mom ever' (course that only lasted until the next day, but hey with 9 yr olds you take what you can get, right? LOL
This new movie is an updated take on the 80's film, of the same name, starring Sabrina Carpenter (of Disney Channel's hit comedy series "Girl Meets World") and Sofia Carson (of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie "Descendants"), as two competing babysitters, that turn an ordinary night into a night NO ONE will forget in this new Disney Channel’s Original Movie!
The adventure for Jenny and Lola in the big city begins as they hunt for one of the kids who somehow snuck away from Lola. The two teen girls have distinctly different personalities, making for an interesting night, as they learn from one another! They met when they each interviewed for a coveted photography internship, and thanks to a spill, accidently swap phones. When the Anderson family calls Jenny's phone looking for a last-minute babysitter, audacious Lola, in need of some extra cash, picks up and nominates herself, while pretending to be Jenny. Meanwhile, dependable Jenny is already set to babysit the Cooper family for the evening. Unfortunately, Lola's first attempt at babysitting takes an unforeseen turn, when one of the Anderson kids sneaks out to go to a concert. Jenny, determined to protect her reputation as the star babysitter for both families, and Lola with the remaining kids in tow, head out and have the adventure of a lifetime during one magical night in the big city.

Review:
This was a really FUN movie, that had something for all kids- the roller derby fanatic, the aspiring chef, the cool kid, the fashionista, the kid who feels left out but is really special, the kid who does everything perfect, and the wild soul. Kids will find a character they can relate to, and we both loved how each kid got to showcase their strengths in the movie, and show just how unique and special they each are.Additionally both Lola and Jenny learn to be a bit more liek the other, Jenny to let loose and enjoy life, Lola to be more responsible and hardworking. I had to laugh at the times Miss Grace caught a couple of discrpencies ("where did Lola's camera go?") and remind her it was just a movie, and go with the flow! In the end she adored the movie and can't stop singing the theme song! So since I have to have it stuck in my brain, now you do too:
This is a fun action adventure comedy for kids, tweens, teens and parents. It offers some great chances to discuss responsibility and making the right decisions too! We highly recommend it!

I thought this was an incredibly ENJOYMENT flick, of which received anything for everyone kids- this roller derby lover, this aspiring cooking, this trendy baby, this fashionista, the little one exactly who senses ignored although is very exclusive, the little one who every little thing great, along with the outdoors internal.
