In the debut of a delightful cozy mystery series, Sarah Fox introduces a charming new heroine who finds herself in a sticky situation: stacking pancakes, pouring coffee, and investigating murder.

When Marley McKinney's aging cousin, Jimmy, is hospitalized with pneumonia, she agrees to help run his pancake house while he recovers. With its rustic interior and syrupy scent, the Flip Side Pancake House is just as she pictured it—and the surly chef is a wizard with crêpes. Marley expects to spend a leisurely week or two in Wildwood Cove, the quaint, coastal community where she used to spend her summers, but then Cousin Jimmy is found murdered, sprawled on the rocks beneath a nearby cliff.

After she stumbles across evidence of stolen goods in Jimmy's workshop, Marley is determined to find out what's really going on in the not-so-quiet town of Wildwood Cove. With help from her childhood crush and her adopted cat, Flapjack, Marley sinks her teeth into the investigation. But if she's not careful, she's going to get burned by a killer who's only interested in serving up trouble.

Ever have a book you wanted to MOVE into? Yup, this is one of those!

This is a uber fast paced book- in fact I finished it in one sitting, staying up to wee hours in the morning, as I just didn't want to stop reading. Sarah gives the reader a few red herrings along the way of a charming chick lit romantic mystery, about how you can go home again, when home isn't where you thought it was! It's an inspiring tale too, about seizing the day and doing what makes you HAPPY, not what is expected of you! Just don't read it on an empty stomach, as all the talk of the diner food will have you STARVING in seconds flat! So it's a good thing there are recipes at the end of the book, LOL. Here's hoping to see more of these fun characters in new books! Be sure to pick this one up for some fun Summer reading, and cooking!

Since it's Recipe Weekend, it's only fair to show you one of the fun recipes from this book!

This recipe is talked about NUMEROUS times in the book, and every time I head it mentioned I started craving them, so I was uber excited to see the EASY recipe in the back, along with 5 other pancakes and waffles recipes, mentioned in the book!
