Review:

This is one book you will WANT for all year decor! There are literally angels for all the holidays and seasons of the year (well, except for Mardi Gras, gotta talk to Jim about that! LOL). You may find yourself stuck trying to decide which of the many Christmas angels for example, to start with.

I love the angel above, as she shares the true meaning of Christmas, and I can't wait to use my new gel pens on it for a great stained glass effect! And then to frame it in a lovely carved frame I have, to place on the mantle!

In fact, I will probably use the same frame for the entire year's worth of angels! I love the idea of coloring a new angel for every month, and showcasing your work as decor and art, for friends and family to see!  Miss Grace and I are already debating on who is coloring the St Patrick's Day angel- da kid is trying to claim it's hers to color, as she's literally an Irish Princess (don't you hate it when they use the crown against you? HA LOL). Course she already claimed the Easter ones too, using the 'my birthday' excuse...sigh

Did you see the angel of the top of my July 4th tree? Yup, she was from this book!

As you can see, she's on the right above. Ii colored her in a combination of pen and pencil, as I wanted the flag to really pop off the page. But for the Spring page on the left, I used soft pastel pens, to bring to mind the gentleness of babies and renewal. She's an example of another way to use these lovely angels! You can wrap them around a styrofoam core and have a great 3-D art piece, especially if you use glitter, sparkles, jewels or buttons as well!

These angels really get your crafting imagination going and ready to try new techniques.Once you start you won't be able to stop, and thanks to them being so easy to tear out, you might just find yourself working on 3-4 in a day!

The book would be a great hostess, Christmas or birthday gift idea, especially given with a set of colored pens or pencils! Even if the recipient was never a fan of Shore's statues, they'll LOVE these angels! We give it top grades for adult coloring books!
