While humans and cats may purr in different languages, that doesn't stop most cat mommies and daddies from understanding what their kitty wants—whether it be some treats, cat nip, or just a snuggle partner.
72% of cat parents love to surprise their kitties with treats
Speaking of treats, nothing makes a cat happier than some spontaneous, unexpected goodies from the person who cares for them the most.
55% of cats love chicken-flavored nibbles

Our little furbull has come a LONG way from the day when she was a feral kitten, hanging out with the dog in the yard, and refusing to come near humans! We eventually won her over, and now? She likes to take runs outside the house on occasion, but she likes her ac, steady food bowl and toy stash! In fact her and the aforementioned dog have been having issues 'sharing' the toys, and food dishes, since the dog came back inside full time! It's funny how the dog would let her eat all she wanted and never complained, and now the cat is territorial over her dish! Course it could be because she likes to keep her Meow Mix all to herself! the dog just thinks it's a great snack, LOL
It's funny how a little bundle of fur can get so attached to humans after a rocky start! She's almost as bad as the dog, waiting on the back of the sofa, to watch to see when the car pulls into the drive, sitting on the steps going upstairs when she can hear us moving around, knowing when somebody just needs a cat version bear hug and when to complain about our being gone for too many days! But we wouldn't have it any other way! Dad swears shes learned to say "NO" and and "NOW" pretty clearly, when you ignore her too! She's even becoming a lap cuddler in her middle age! Course we still find her napping in some weird places (backpack, suitcase, etc), but I think that is more about finding quiet than anything else!
