Begin your day in joyful anticipation, trusting that God is in control of your life and wants only the best for you.
Review:
This is a lovely pocket book of prayers, that are short enough to just take a few minutes to read, and then a few more to reflect upon, allowing you to squeeze in that morning prayer and reflection on any chaotic and busy day. As you can see they are each has a subject, a basic premise, and then the prayer. Some are half pages, others are a full page. But they all end with a bible quote. This allows for more reading if time allows, or to come back to a a later time during the day. You can follow along starting on day one, or search by topic with the handy topical index at the back. The book is in a nice embossed leather print, that reminds us to take life easy, like we do when we are at the beach. It would make a lovely teacher's gift, a hostess present, or for your favorite person for Christmas (109 days and counting!), and we highly recommend it!

Review:
This is a LOVELY combination of a adult coloring book, reflection journal and a prayer book. In fact, you may not realize it IS a prayer book at first glance! The lovely illustrations will have your fingers eagerly awaiting the chance to color them, but don't skip on the writings!
As you can see the writings are directed prayers and reflections, rolled into one, and space is given for you to write your answers, add your thoughts, and list what you are grateful for. The pages are a lovely way to help us reflect on what we are truly thankful for, as we color away.
The pages take ink very well, as you can see from Miss Grace's start on one page. There was no bleed through, thanks to the heavier than normal pages! She colored on the way to her latest weekend competition out of state, and I found it touching that instead of writing down her answers, she told them to me. The book helped to remind her of the little things that happen every day that we should appreciate and tell those responsible for them, how thankful we are!
The book would be a lovely gift with a set of gel ink pens, and the Pocket Prayer book above! It would be perfect for sending off with a coed to college, for a friend starting a new adventure, for a hostess during the frantic holidays, or just for the person who need to hear how thankful you are for them!
So as you're starting your holiday list this season, be sure to keep this set on your list!
