Are YOU Getting the Color YOU Want When Dying Your Hair?

Biokap Nutricolor Delicato Hair Dye is available in 14 shades, including the 8 brown shades. I normally use a brownish red color, so I selected 5.5 Mahogany Light Brown. It ended up being the perfect match to my current color!  

As you can see, the Biokap kits are different in what you get as well! Not only do you get the developer in an applicator bottle, with the dye in a squueze tube, instructions and plastic gloves, you get 2 unique items to Biokap- a disposable protective cape and their unique Crema. Both of which are to keep you from getting dye where you do NOT want it! The cape covers your shoulders well and for me, I ended up with only 2 spots of color on it, by accident, as the creme is no drip and so thick! 

The crema you put all over your face and/or neck, where you do not want the color! It washes off with the shampoo (also supplied), when you take off the color and really works! I ended up only using half a pack or it, so I will have it for my next application. I have shoulder length hair and there was just enough color for me to do my roots and whole head. Had my hair been longer, I probably would have wanted 2 kits, FYI. The color sets for 20 minutes, and then you use the provided shampoo (!!) to remove the dye. This seemed odd to me, but it really helped to get ALL the remaining color off of my scalp and hair, and it left my hair feeling super soft!

My white was actually about 3/4 of an inch along the part. I purposedly let it get that far, so I could really test this color for you (you're welcome, LOL, but you didn't get a picture of THAT). As you can see from the picture below, which has flash on it, the Biokap color REALLY covers your WHITE hair (and mine is extremely hard to color thanks to it's zero pigment (thanks Grandma). I know it looks light arund the left side of my face, but that was the flash. It is more of a lighter red, and the white is 100% covered. 

In the second photo, you can see a more natural light look at the color, and you can see what i mean by lighter red.  It looks dark brown with some red, but then when you get into bright light, like the first picture, the red flares out. WHICH is a more natural looking color. I always got lighter on my roots that were exposed and around my face, thanks to the blond Norwegian coming out, during the Summer. So this is a natural Fall look for me!

But what really impressed me most was NO ITCHY scalp! I have always had a problem for 48 hours after any new color with my scalp itchy and irritated, no matter what dye, natural, or not, I (or my beautician) used! But with Biokap I stayed itch free! In fact, my hair looked 10 times BETTER after only ONE use fo the Biokap dye! I am so impressed with this color- both in application, coverage and how it treats your hair! It is hands down, one of the BEST products I have checked out this year!
I will keep you updated on how long it lasts as well, as I'm only a few days into the first week!
