It's the holiday season, you're gonna NEED this book for SO many reasons!

The Essential Step-by-Step Guide to Acupressure with Aromatherapy Treatments cpver

Synopsis:

Maintain your good health through the ancient healing art of acupressure.

Acupressure uses the same pressure points as acupuncture, but instead of needles, you simply use your fingers to gently but firmly stimulate your body’s natural ability to heal. When acupressure points are correctly stimulated, they promote blood circulation and release muscular tension, providing an overall sense of well-being.

With its easy and conversational style and step-by-step photos, this book will teach you how to heal yourself naturally so you can live a pain-free and vibrant life. You’ll learn everything you need to know about acupressure and how aromatherapy can complement acupressure and enhance your health.

The book is broken down into easy-to-understand sections, beginning with:
Part 1: Understanding Chinese Medicine and Treatment of Disease
• The 5 Elements
• The Symbolic System
Part 2: 12 Systems of Chinese Medicine
• Head
• Respiratory
• Digestive
• Reproductive (for women & men)
• Integumentary (skin disorders)
• Musculoskeletal
• Endocrine
• Lymph/Immune
• Urinary
• Circulatory

Review:

As you can see, you get instructions for using essential oils to treat an ailment, and then, as below, you get accupressure photos, with clear directions, for treating the same ailment. I like how the book is divided into 2 sections, so if you are more into oils, you can start where you are familiar, and then work your way into the accupressure section. or vice versa. The author is always aware of possible complications and symptoms, and points them out where applicable. Whether you have sprains, acid reflux, depression, fatigue (all common holiday issues), this great book can help you treat them NATURALLY, without chemicals your body does NOT need! And that is always a great thing. We have used oils for over a year now, and I know they work. My mother has used accupressure most of my life, and I know it can really help with headaches, nausea and other minor pains, so it makes sense that it would work with other ailments! This is a great book, and pretty good one to give to the family member who appreciates homepathic ways!
