if you've read this blog for any amount of time, you know that we ADORE The Gilmore Girls and always have. No, we didn't do a 1 day marathon on Netflix, we watched them when they first ran- my mother and I watched them and laughed ourselves silly, as Lorelai and Rory reminded us of ourselves. Then when Miss Grace came along, I made sure to have all the episodes (even the hated last season without Amy writing) on DVD, so Miss Grace and I could watch them together, and continue a family tradition.

So obviously with the reunion series of 4 shows coming (WEEKS away people, we can count DAYS here!), the timing for this new cookbook was perfect, and of course I had to check it out!

Review:

This book is the perfect fandom book, for all things Gilmore! Kristi pulls food ideas from the episodes, finds a really great recipe and puts them all together in a cohesive book, that shares recipes that you would find at Emily's luncheons, the Dragon Fly Inn, Luke's dinner, and Lorelai's house, and more. Each recipe includes an introduction about the idea for the recipe, letting fan's reminensce about the different episodes.

But it IS a cookbook! And it's a pretty decent one at that! It includes all the main categories that you would expect from any all around cookbook, like dinners, breakfast, desserts, and also includes a recipe guide that let's you find recipes according to where they 'came from', so that you can have a great The Gilmore Girls Season viewing party!

It's a great book to have, with fun and easy recipes to make, and perfect for gift giving, to any Gilmore fan!
