Did you realize it was probably in 1981, when the series first aired! Can you believe it has been over 25 years? Yes indeedy, and now the Smurfs are back!

Yup- the Smurfs are back in their first FULLY animated movie, Smurfs: The Lost Village is coming to theaters 4/7!

Synopsis:

In this fully animated, all-new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does. Embarking on a rollercoaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history!

The smurfs were recently Grand Marshals for one of our recent Mardi Gras parades, and I hink the kids were just as excited to see them as the kids! Miss Grace can't wait to see this film, as she says, :I always knew there has to be more girls!" Girl power indeed!
