Review:

This is a cute movie, a wonderful addition to the Smurfs library, and watchable for both kids and adults. Miss Grace and I both loved that the 'missing' girl smurfs were found, and not only had they made an amazing village, but they were smart and strong. They worked as a community, and seemed very supportive of one another. All of these characteristics are ones that are great for girls to see and model. Miss Grace was thrilled with the tale of Smurfette and how love and faith helped to save the day! In fact is you want to really add a family discussion to your day, checking out the Discussion Guide, can help you see what a great learning film this can also be (click on the pix below to get to the link).

You can start the day with blueberry pancakes and milk, watch the movie, build your own Smurfs village, have a Smurfy manicure afternoon with dancing and singing, and then watch the movie! It's fun for everyone! So give it a thought and make today (or any day this Summer) a Smurfy one!
