Review:
Got a kid that LOVES Legos?
You NEED this book! both Miss Grace and I loved how each monster was broken down, so she could see how many of EACH type, and color, of each Lego brick she needed. then the simple step by step instructions allowed her to make all the beasts on her own, with no help from Mom! Having the color picture also made sure that she had everything right as well. once your kids start making beasts from this book, it will give them the foundation skills to make other beasts of their own design too! It's a great way to encourage creativity AND building skills!
if you home school you can use this book for some math fun by having kids 'do the math'- ie how many different blocks needed for each monster, what percentage per color, fractions, division, even figuring out circumference and area! By making math FUN, you just might be surprised how much your kids learn!
We highly recommend this book for all around family fun!
