Review:

THIS is the book for Dad and the kids to really bond over! It allows Dad to share all his knowledge of cars with the kids, and the kids can show Dad how to rock out the Legos, aka Bricks, to make some amazing cars (and trucks). As you can see, each vehicle has an introduction, with info on the real vehicle, like when it was made, and where. So even if the vehicle was before Dad's time, he can explain more about it to the kids who are eager to move on to BUILDING! LOL

And building is made easy thanks to color picture charts, showing which Lego piece is needed, and how many. Then the step by step color picture instructions show how to put them all together, and then take the assembled 'parts' and made a vehicle out of them. Admittedly, even with these instructions, I could help the kids build a car! She's stuck on building the 1967 Shelby 'pony' car, but we're missing pieces, and the pieces aren't 'properly color coordinated' (horrors!), otherwise I would be showing it to you! This would be a great gift for all those birthday parties, where you have no idea what to buy you child's friend. Get them this book and a set of basic Legos and watch them light up with joy when they see how cool the book is! You might need to add it to Santa's wish list too!
