Review: 

What is it about Fall that makes us want to bakes pies ALL the time? Whether it's the chill in the air, of the bounty of apples, we can't seem to stay away from the oven! This new cookbook will allow you to take your familiar recipes and give them a savory twist, or pair the familiar with the unfamiliar, and maybe allow your family to find some new favorites along the way! And oh the photos- you may find yourself just turning pages and sighing, and not really getting up and cooking for awhile! LOL Mainly because of indecision- where to start first? I would recommend at the beginning and work your way through, because with a book like this that indulges all your senses, it needs to be enjoyed from start to finish! The directions are very clear, as you can see, and even Miss Grace was able to figure out lattice tops with the illustration above, with NO help from Mom (who unfortunately, accidentally erased the picture of her pie. ugh)! We've declared her Cinnamon Roll Pie With Apples the ONLY way to make apple pie from now on, so you know the recipe rocks! You really can;t go wrong with any recipe in this book, and we highly recommend it.

Plus it makes a super gift idea for the hostess, co-worker who like to cook, or food that person you don't know what to buy for! Add a baking pie and potholder set with this book and you have a superb holiday gift idea!

These may seem like a Summer pie, but they're perfect for this time of year, when you want a pie, but maybe not quite a heavy one, and they are great for using up your Summer fruit, or switching out the fruit, to your favorites! Add that this one is gluten-free, and you have a great dessert to take to fall pot lucks too!
