We've shared the Baby Lit series of board books with you,
and now they've branched out from lit to travel!

my little cities books

In this delightful series written by BabyLit author Jennifer Adams and illustrated by kidlit darling Greg Pizzoli, each book showcases a different city with lighthearted baby-appropriate text and ridiculously charming illustrations.

my little cities london

Cross the pond and explore the city on the Thames: feed the pigeons in Trafalgar Square, watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, marvel at the spinning lights of the London Eye, and say good night to London's landmark skyline.

my little cities new york

Take a whirlwind tour of the Big Apple: cheer with the roaring crowds at Yankee Stadium, chug along peacefully on the Staten Island Ferry, wonder at the bright lights of Times Square, and say good night to the famous New York City skyline.

my little cities paris

Take a whirlwind tour of the city of light and love! Listen to the choir at Notre-Dame, explore the catacombs, ride up to the tip-top of the Eiffel Tower, and of course, say good night to the sparkling city of Paris.

my little cities san francisco

Take a whirlwind tour of the city by the bay! Cruise along the majestic Golden Gate Bridge, play with the sea lions at Pier 39, ride cable cars up steep hills, and of course, say good night to the stunning San Francisco skyline.

I loved the Baby Lit series, even though it came along AFTER Miss Grace was way beyond age for it, but it made for great baby shower gift ideas. Theoretically this series continues in that vein. However the San Francisco book does have a page featuring the rainbow flag, so that could brign up issues that parents do not want to bring to toddlers. Which also disappointed me, that political correctness got brought into the series. That should have been left out. It may be something for adults, but not for toddlers. But taking that book out of the mix, the other three delight in the bringing the best of each city to toddlers, in a lovely rhyming verse.
