Make Family Night a Winner with Champion DVD (giveaway)

I  previoulsy shared with you about this great FAMILY movie, and I'm thrilled to let you know about it's DVD release!

The movie actually released digitally yesterday, October 24^th and will be available on DVD November 7th. But today I have a DVD to give away to one lucky family (remember Christmas in a mere 7 weeks and counting, time to get those stocking stuffers!)

Synopsis:

Racecar driver Sean Weathers was at the top of his game…beautiful daughter, top sponsors, the best crew money could buy and an ego that trumped them all. Just weeks before ending the best season of his life, he was in control—or so he thought. When a grudge series with another racer turns personal, the ego and arrogance that propelled him to the top causes a tragedy that sends his life spinning.

Jack Reed was successful as a businessman, but he struggled as a father. Just when they were reconnecting, he got the news his only son Ray was dead. Through his grief Jack discovers the truth that Ray had wanted to share with him, that the road to understanding and peace would have to begin with forgiveness.

Our take on the Movie:

Miss Grace and I watched this film together. and I was really surprised at how she grasped the idea of forgiveness readily, and was stunned by the core level of forgiveness of the back story. The entire film centers on different levels of forgiveness- how we forgive ourselves, others and how that forgiveness can have a domino effect into the lives of others. I was also thrilled to see foster care in such a POSITIVE, nurturing light, showing it as we have known it to be.It was great to see how everyone came together at the end of the movie and how sometimes family is NOT what we think of, but it is the people who have been there and shown kindness. All together the movie is an amazing film that spurs family discussion on forgiveness and how we share it with others. We highly recommend everyone see it, not just those looking for a faith based film!
