the girl who lived cover

Synopsis:

No one believes her story.

The police think she's crazy.
Her therapist thinks she's suicidal.
Everyone else thinks she's a dangerous drunk.
They're all right--but did she see the killer?

As the anniversary of the murders approaches, Faith Winters is released from the psychiatric hospital and yanked back to the last spot on earth she wants to be--her hometown where the slayings took place. Wracked by the lingering echoes of survivor's guilt, Faith spirals into a black hole of alcoholism and wanton self-destruction. Finding no solace at the bottom of a bottle, Faith decides to track down her sister's killer--and then discovers that she's the one being hunted.

How can one woman uncover the truth when everyone's a suspect--including herself?

Review:

First off, let me admit, i read this book in ONE sitting. I had no intention of doing that, but Faith's character just grabbed me, and I didn't want to leave her- I wanted to know if she would be a survivor, or if as she says,  you came out of it ...someone else, the person you were is forever gone. Would she be able to turn her life around, or would she be killed before she could?

I did guess who the true killer was very early on, but the fun was reading to see if my guess was right- would the clues support the theory, or destroy it. What else would happen to Faith before the end? This book is one that you'll be telling everyone you know about! I'm not sure how it slid under my radar for so long! Greyson is a master storyteller and this is a book to keep you up long into the night too! So don't miss it!
