Kids getting bored with the traditional back to school food, already?
Why not shake up their lunches a bit?
Revamp your kid'd school lunches with PBfit- a healthy twist on peanut butter, that will not only cut the calories in your child’s PB&J, but keep the peanuty flavor they love!
You can also mix PBfit right into your kid's morning smoothie, or oatmeal, to get them started on a healthy, delicious school morning routine. Your kids will never know the difference! Miss Grace actually LOVES to make her own peanut butter up! She adds a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar to a tablespoon of PBfit, and then, adds just enough water to get it to the consistency she likes. If she gets heavy handed, then she might make a double batch, but she LOVES the all natural flavor! And I love that she is STILL getting half the amount of sugar from our old peanut butter!
in fact, PBfit has only one-third the calories and 87% less fat of traditional jarred peanut butters! THAT's how much extra SUGAR and unhealthy things are IN those jarred peanut butters! PBfit is made by gently roasting peanuts, and then pressing the peanuts to extract the majority of the oil from those peanuts. This process reduces the unnecessary fats that are found in regular peanut butter, but leaving a delicious peanut butter powder that is full of flavor. In fact, PBfit has only 3 ingredients- peanuts, coconut palm sugar and kosher salt!
Generally you mix 2 tablespoons of PBfit to 1 1/2 tablespoons of water, for snacking or spread purposes. For her smoothies, we generally add about a tablespoon. We've also found ourselves adding it to cookies and other snacks! For the snacks above, I used the PBfit in PLACE of the called for peanut butter in the recipe, and guess what! NOBODY noticed! But the snacks were a WHOLE lot better for them, as the sugar had been reduced by over a third! YEAH! PBfit says you can even substitute 1:1 for flour in recipes, using PBfit. I haven't tried that yet, but if you have a kid who can't handle gluten, but can peanuts, that might be a great option! You can check out some great PBfit recipes over on the PBfit website! In fact, your family may not even notice the difference in your tasty treats cooked with PBfit either!
PBfit comes in 4 varieties- regular, Organic, Chocolate and Chocolate Protein. In the regular version, as we have, each serving has 8 grams of protein! The Chocolate PBfit only adds cocoa, and still gives you 4 grams of protein and a scrumptious taste! Chocolate PBfit Plus contains whey protein, to give you a whopping 20 grams of natural protein per serving! So not matter what your flavor, or protein needs, PBfit has you covered!
So this year, change up the lunch box, and the after school snacks, for a tasty, HEALTHY option: PBfit!
We have and you can too!
