Review:
This book is the children's book for Max's Praying the Promises adult bible study book. It is aimed at tweens and teens, ages 11 and up. Each chapter poses a question to the student, and then goes through and shows how God answer's that promise. Each chapter includes special points, God's promise applicable to the lesson, additional applicable bible verses, Think & Respond questions at the end of the chapter to make kids apply the lesson learned to their own lives (and plenty of room to write their answers), and a final prayer/promise to God.
If you are looking for a book that starts to answer kids questions about their faith, while helping to keep them grounded IN their faith,this might be the perfect starting point for your family! The book allows kids to read on their own, and then parents can go over the ending questions with them, allowing for some great family discussion, but also spiritual, about your family's beliefs and morals. Miss Grace has greatly enjoyed the book so far, and it's been a perfect addition to her weekly bible studies! We highly recommend the book!
