I LOVE that there are sepearte holders to keep your eggs safe! It's a small detail, but one that you will learn to love! We do use ours just a bot differently though!
If you're like us, you hate coming home with more plastic shopping bags, that seem to be getting thinner and thinner each time you go to the grocery store, and really don't hold much. And you can't do much with them. Which leads to the question, "What should we use instead?"
I've found a super answer:

As you can see, instead of waiting to use at check out, we use them DURING shopping, to help keep items seperated. It works very well for us!
By allowing us to seperate the produce and bread, it helps keep them safe from 'accidental' dropping by jar and canned goods (ahem, da kid issues)! We've found that the 4 bags tend to be just the right amount of space for us!
We tend to go to self check out- Miss Grace loves using the hand scanner- and it tends to go quicker for us. In the picture above, you can see how the frozen and cold items are all together, as are all the bread items. So when we get to checkout we'll empty one bag onto the counter and the other person will take that bag to the checkout 'shelf' and put the items back in it, and then put it back in the buggy. Then we repeat with the rest of the bags.
Each bag has a mesh bottom that is VERY sturdy. Trust me, I thing we loaded 20 lbs in each on the previous trip, where I forgot to take pictures! Unlike other bags, ther's no sagging bottoms, no cardboard that falls apart if you wash it, etc.
As you can see, the bags are actually pretty tall, when out of the basket! We've gotten stopped numerous times and asked about the system already, People love how the bags go together so compactly!
As you can see, it is very easy to fold them back up and back together again. We keep it in the car, so we don't forget it. We've also found taking 1 or 2 bags out for use like at Target, has worked well too! I do wish that the handles retracted, when not in use, but I know it makes them sturdier this way! And you CAN remove them if you need to, making the bags the only ones you'll need for ANY of your shopping trips!
The company's goal is to make a dent in the almost 1,500 wasteful plastic bags used by the average American family in the U.S. each year.
