Review:

This is an adorable movie! Teya Patt as KK is the best friend we all have and can count on- she calls 'em as she sees  'em and buoys Sloan up when she needs it, and is happy to go on a treasure hunt with her. The movie is flat out charming- you really aren't sure what Sloan and KK are going to find out about the missing treasure, or if they WILL find it. But what Sloan ends up finding by the end of the movie is a treasure that we hope ALL of our kids will find. Sloan is not your typical Millenial kid- she handles adversity with a can-do attitude, that will endear you to her!

While not technically a Christian movie, this PG charmer, really DOES teach about having faith, and keeping what is important in sight, and not getting caught up in the chaos that can happen in your life. Miss Grace told me it remind her of The Gilmore Girls (which we binge watched over Thanksgiving, as so it was recent in her mind), because of all the characters in a small town, and those traditions were so important! This movie could easily become a Christmas tradition in our house, ushering in the holiday on a high note!
