Yes, even our cat was intrigued with this light weight litter? It ahd to go through a smell test with her first and when Miss Grace asked which one to try first, she picked the Featherwight Clumping!
This ökocat litter comes in the yellow striped box! This litter is made from naturally lightweight wood and plant particles, not a watered down version of something else. Second to none in absorption and trapping odors, it's also similar to the texture of clay so makes transitioning your cat to a natural litter easy.
I was actually VERY amazed at how well it STOPPED odors. I didnt even realize she had USED the box at all in the first 24 hours, it stopped the smell THAT well! I only realized she had used it, when Miss Grace cleaned it the next day. Both of us were VERY impressed with how well it clumped- there was no stray bits, so it was EASY and quick to clean! The cat seems to really like its soft texture, judging by how she scooped some outside the box to walk on, LOL.

The other litter we tried out was the Super Soft Clumping litter, which comes in the pink striped box. It is a naturally lightweight natural cat litter as well, but with a super soft texture your cat will love. Maybe even your kid. LOL. She has to open it up to test it and declared it fun to play with. So if you run out of that silk sand kids like to play with, you can sub in this, LOL.
This litter is made super soft thanks to its fine wood granule, a texture similar to that of the softest clay litter, so it’s perfect for delicate paws, senior cats and kittens. I had to laugh when the cat stepped into it for the first time. She stopped, looked at it, felt it some more, and played with it, before using it! Like cat, like kid? It might be soft, but it's equally tough on odor control and is just as great at absorption! And easy to clean, thanks to it's great clumping too!
But if you want something a bit different, there are 4 more varities for you and your furry pal:
- Clumping Wood Litter- Blue striped box- the premium litter of the group, it is the fastest and firmest of the clumping cat litter, thanks to its soft, ground pellets.
- Long Hair Clumping- In the purple striped box- Specially designed for long haired breeds that tend to get cat litter stuck in their fur. These dense, whole clumping pellets of natural wood, won’t be carried through the house and make a mess. Finicky, long haired cats prefer the soft feel of the mini-pellets on their paws, while their natural effectiveness respects their delicate systems.
- Dust Free Paper- in the green striped box- this lightweight and natural paper dust free cat litter is firm on the outside, and soft on the inside, like pulp. Dust free, so it’s perfect for cats with respiratory ailments, or people with allergies. Won’t track through the house like clay litters, or leave paw prints on the furniture.
- Cracked Pine-in the orange striped box-This ökocat Natural Pine litter is free from chemicals, dyes and other synthetics.
