    Review:

If you read any of last week's review, then you know that Miss grace started a small landscaping business, that included raised beds on rollers! So when the offer of checking out this book came in, I knew she would be only too happy to review the book, so this is her review!

This book is for the new person to gardening, this book is easy to follow. It walks you through picking out what type of container garden you want- a tall one, wider short ones, or raised with glass tops to keep animals out. Once you decide, then it gives you ideas on how to make them. Then it walks you through soil types and what needs to be added, and where you need to place your beds.

Then there are 30 sections about different vegetables and fruit plants that grow well in raised beds. Each is 2 pages (some are 3), and cover the basics about the different plants, like when to plant and harvest, and how much sun/water they need, and what they grow well together with. I like how you can mix flowers (most edible!) with your veggies, for a fun garden. I really like this book! If you have a child in 4-H they could use it as garden project too!

I think it would also make a great homeschool elective text as well, with some more research, and have it has a half credit/semester project! it would also make a great gift idea!
