Review:

This book is PERFECT for Summer fun! it's aimed at kids, and has plenty of colorful photos to make it easy to follow along with! As you can see, there are such a wide varied type of designs, that even adult may want to give it a try with a couple of rocks. plus many of the techniques learned can be used on different mediums, like canvases and frames! It starts with prepping your rocks, getting the right supplies and deciding on your paint colors and techniques.

Different paint techniques are then covered- some simple like masking tapes, others a bit more evolved (glitter speckle paint), but all perfect for making mini creations! Miss Grace loved that the book is easy enough for her to follow along by herself, but the techniques don't require an adult! So I would call the book perfect for tweens on up! Add it to a basket of paints, supplies and rocks, and you've got some 'me' time by the pool reading, while the kids are busy!
