Review:

My second grade teacher had recently taken an Evelyn Woods Speed Reading Course, so she thought it might be helpful to teach her class some of the skills she learned. We all GREATLY increased our reading skills that year, and became pretty quick at taking tests too! Those skills I learned have stayed with me to this day, which is why I can read a 400 page book in 2 sittings with ease!

This book offers some of the great 'tricks', aka tips that we were taught, plus quite a few others.  With every technique there are multiple examples, so you can try out the technique and see how you did. Even if you read quickly, there are different levels of speed reading, and and it's really quite amazing just what you can learn to increase you reading speed even more! This is a good book for high schoolers and college age kids, but adults will learn just as much!
