Review:

Many of the recipes in this book are either NoBake (time saver!), Quick (made in under 30 minutes), made in small pans (no worry about leftovers) or are lightly sweet (easy on the waistline), making this the PERFECT cookbook for stressed parents, looking for a moments respite from the kiddos! Initially strolling through the book, I found myself bookmarking at least 15 pages- that's huge for me. Typically recipes are similar to ones I already have, and I'm lucky if I mark more than 4! Most of the recipes are very simple, requiring nothing than what most of us already have in the pantry, which is always a huge plus to me! Lemon Curd Tarts and Oatmeal Cookies with Dried Blueberries, are ready to give us the last taste of Summer, while Chocolate Filled Hazelnut Scones, Coffee Crumb Cake, and Brown Sugar Cinnamon Stuffed Apple Crisp are already vying for cool Fall mornings with a cup of coffee,  Red Velvet Bars and Bourbon Pecan Pie are ready to round out the holiday season too! This is an amazing collection of recipes and most of them could be easily doubled, in case you need to serve only 4! Highly recommend you buy one for yourself, and one for your bestie (Christmas IS coming), and it would be great for the coed moved into their own place, to have samples of Mom's recipes at hand!

This recipe is a perfect example of how to cut down a traditional recipe made for 7-8 people and make it suitable for 2!
