Modern kids are victims of their own devices, literally. They are SO used to rapid fire info coming at them, and seeking it out, that many have lost the ART of listening! And of course the conjoined concept to listening, is talking. How can you get others to truly LISTEN to you, if you don't understand what it means to be a good listener? These skills really aren't taught anymore in school,so teens and college kids will really appreciate the concepts covered in this book, as they use the skills to approach professors and future employers! In many ways, this book reminded me of a condensed version of a Communications Skills class I had in college- Julian takes the time to make the reader understand how listening and speaking are part of the same circle and how we respond to each, then he offers suggestions and practice exercise to improve both.
