Well we've NEVER had such a COLD second week of November,
here in Louisiana!
I literally ordered da kid SNOW gloves 2 days ago, 'just in case'.
And she was delighted I had gotten in a 'ready for snow coat' for her the week before!
BOY has she used it!
But where in the world do you buy SNOW coats from in Louisiana?
Well you don't really! LOL
You buy it from a company that KNOWS snow! DUH!

Can't you just imagine buying ALL THREE? I can!
But when I asked Miss Grace what type of coat she wanted for this winter (will she EVER stop getting taller? NONE of her coats from last winter fit her- they went from hip caots to not covering her waist! LOL). she said a long 'adult' coat with FUR.
Naturally. LOL
So looking through the Moauntain Warehouse website, I found just the PERFECT coat:

It features a waterproof outer layer that is made from IsoDry fabric which has a waterproof and breathable membrane, to allow perspiration out, but keep you dry, with additional microfiber padding and a warm fleece lining for warmth, taped seams and a detachable hood with faux-fur trim to keep you protected and warm.
Oh yeah, the faux fur was a TOTAL hit, can you tell? LOL
Want to get out in the snow? NO problem with this coat to stay dry and warm!
You have a taped seams, to ensure no wetness gets INSIDE of the seam, a full heavy duty zipper, adjustable cuffs, hood and hem for a great fit to keep cold and snow at bay! As you can see, your zipper is also covered by velcro tabs, to keep it SHUT, and your sleeves can easily accomendate snow gloves, and STILL get super tight to keep the cold OUT!
But you can still reach your phone pr keys, thanks to extra big side pockets! Plus when you zip up, you have a snap closure at the top, with more velcro tabs. Yup, you will be snug as a bug in this coat!
How much does she LOVE it? Can you tell?
It's a keeper, as I went ahead and ordered up a size, so she would have room under for bulky sweaters and sewathsirts THIS year, and have it snug anf fitted for next year! Plus the longer length this year, will assure t's the perfect hip lentgth next year, but provides amazing coverage this year, as you can see! She's already worn it in 20 degree weather and declared it SUPER SUPER warm, but NOT hot like other ski coats she has had in the past. That moisture wicking material REALLY works! She is prone to getting hot in coats very quickly, and she kept this one on for hours out in the cold, with no issued! At under $100, this coat is a STEAL!
