Review:

This is a great book and with great simple recipes that are more than just basic. You can easily use them as foundations, and add ingredients, as your skill level increases. You have breads, muffins, pies, cheesecakes, tarts, cakes, cupcakes and more! There are recipes for all year, and even seasoned cooks will love this book for its simplicity! My only negative is that there are not enough photos- beginner baker's really need to see how ALL the recipes should look!  Great gift idea for kid bakers, and those learning to bake desserts, this is a book they will reach for over and over agaon! Be sure to add some baking needs, like measuring cups and spoons, and bowl, and you have a gift that will keep on giving, long after the holidays are over!
