Review:

If you want theatrical braids, then THIS is the book for you! Because most of these braids are time intensive, I would call them for special occasions and events, rather than being everyday ones. Many feature multiple smaller braids tied into a larger different braid, and require what seems like 3/4 hands! LOL. But they are stunning when completed. My only gripe is that there are line drawings to show you styles, but what you really need are more color pictures of EACH style, so match to the line drawing to make sure your braid is looking right. plus some have intricate finishing, that even with the drawing, may not make sense, but seeing a close up picture of WHERE to place the hair would be a HUGE help. I would suggest finding the matching videos, is at all possible for some of the techniques as well. It's a good place to start for ideas, and again, it's great for special events! Course, if you're home for a month, you just might be able to master all the techniques (and having those extra hands!) in this book!
