Review:

This is a great book to use to not only make your printing and writing better, but to learn more creative fonts for simple projects, like envelopes and cards, and more involved ones, like signs for your home! Amanda starts with explaining the different types of fonts, how letters sit on lines, and how they have different corresponding measurements.

Basically, the things you never really thing about after you learn to write in the early grades! But when you are working with more advanced fonts, things that they eye sees, even if we don't realize they do! From there you get plenty of practice pages, and simple project ideas to work on

There are many hand lettering books around, but I have to admit this is one of the better ones I have seen, in that it offers more than just a 'here's the font, now copy it' approach. You may find yourself addicted to trying out the new fonts you've learned on everything you write, so be warned! It's also a great gift idea, with a nice set of pens and a blank journal!
