I know what you're thinking....
"another lunch box?'
But that is where you would be WRONG!
Because you see, the Hot Logic Mini Box is not JUST a container to CARRY your lunch/dinner, it's your way of HEATING it, without having to touch the community microwave.
Right now it seems like all of us are almost 'germologists' thanks to all the news and internet articles, we've read and seen, about the coronavirus. So, we all know that the community microwave is going to be a hotbed of germs, once we all get back to work. The Hot Logic Mini box lets you escape the germ fest, that is your workplace microwave, and have your meal at your own desk: when you want it, and to keep it hot continuously. So, if you have to stop your meal break, and go back to it later, you still have a hot meal without having to run back to the microwave!
The Hot Logic Mini box is totally going to change how you see taking leftovers to work!
Let's take a look at what you get with the mini box:
You get the Hot Logic Mini box with hot plate, and the attached power cord, that plugs into any USB port you have, or USB charger. You can use any heatable food container inside it, just make sure it can take heat up to 212 degrees.
Literally that is all you need to have hot food at your desk, anytime you want it! Do understand it's not a microwave, so it's not going to zap your food in one minute flat! However you can plug your Hot Logic box in at say 9 a.m., and by 11 you have hot leftovers or a hot meal, Ready-to-Eat!
Let's look at the Hot Logic Box in action:
As you can see the box has been plugged in, and the food is getting ready to go in. You can touch the hot plate, as it is not warm at all yet. Looking at my mozzarella dish, you can see that the cheese has not melted at all. Now after 30 minutes I've opened it up, and you can see that interior is hot to touch but the plastic ware isn't as hot yet. So let's wait another 90 minutes and see what happens....
The results:
Oh look, did you bake this in the oven for an hour? Did you put it in the microwave and get gummy pasta? Nope! Your food baked in a slow heat, just like it would in the regular oven! You have creamy melty cheese on your pasta, and a meal that's not dried out, that's not gummy and tastes like it just came out of your home, not work!
And here's the best part that I found out! The Mini can keep your food warm for up to 12 HOURS, without destroying it, like you would in a microwave. You know how bad reheated food can taste, but not with the Mini! . My sample meal above was really 2 meals in one. So after I got to work I ate some for dinner, then put it back in the mini to stay hot. FIVE hours later, I opened it back up and ate the rest. Guess what? It was NOT dried out and it tasted GREAT!
You can heat items in cardboard or foil, or in metal or glass trays as well. You can purchase additional trays on the Hot Logic website, or you can use any of those that you get any large quantity, like from Amazon. Just make sure if you buy from somewhere else, that the lids are safe from microwave because it does get heated.
Available in 9 colors, the Mini Box is on sale right now for half price, of only $29.99! You can also get a version with a glass container, versus the plastic one, if that is your preference. Or one that strictly plugs into the car, for those who are always on the go!
They also have a 9x13 casserole size version available, for taking to potlucks and bags for carrying both the mini and casserole containers, all, on sale too! You can also purchase off of Amazon, for the same sale prices right now.
Once you try these bags out, you'll want multiple ones! I LOVE my Mini and will definitely be picking these up for Christmas presents this year!
