Review:

Aimed at kids grades 5-8, but kids younger and older, can make use of this book (as can adults as well!). The book is laid out with a map, to get kids on an adventure of learning to become better rememberers, by looking for ways we loose memory an how to help get it back. Methods you know, like mnemonics are here, but also number rhyme, word association, visual association and the peg method, which you may not. The techniques range from simple to those requiring lots of practice.

Especially for kids, the visual techniques in the book will be ones that they can quickly grasp and use for their different classes. Adults will do better with emotional add ons, as that plays to our experience. but for kids and adults, learning how to STORE an them recall these memories is the key, and this is what your kids (and you) can learn with this book!

I would say this is an excellent book for some at home learning over the Summer, and into the school year, to make use of the techniques learned. You could easily make a game of learning, with rewards and more. This fun book will serve them for years to come!
